Join or Create an Organization
How onboarding works when you are invited to an organization or want to create your own.
In GeoQR, your work happens inside an organization. If you do not already have one after sign-in, GeoQR guides you through onboarding.
Option 1: Join an Existing Organization
If someone invited you:
- Open the invitation email.
- Select the invitation link.
- Review the organization name, role, and expiration date.
- Sign in with the same email address the invitation was sent to.
- Accept the invitation.
If you received the invitation before creating your GeoQR account, create the account with that same email address first and then return to the invitation link.
Invitation Rules
GeoQR expects the signed-in account email to match the invited email.
If you are signed in with the wrong account:
- GeoQR asks you to switch accounts
- then returns you to the invitation flow
Option 2: Create a New Organization
If you are starting fresh:
- Choose the create-organization option in onboarding.
- Enter the organization name.
- Continue to plan selection.
- Finish setup and enter the dashboard.
The person who creates the organization becomes the owner.
Roles You May See
OwnerAdminMember
These roles affect what you can manage inside the organization.
If you are unsure what your role allows, read Roles and permissions.
If You Already Have an Organization
If you already have an active organization, GeoQR skips onboarding and sends you to the dashboard.
If you belong to more than one organization later, you can switch between them from the account menu inside the app.
