Account and Security

Manage your name, timezone, password, and two-factor authentication.

Use the Account settings area to control your personal profile and sign-in security.

Account Information

You can update:

  • your display name
  • your timezone

Your timezone matters because GeoQR uses it for date-based Analytics views.

If Analytics dates look wrong, checking your timezone should be your first step.

Keep your password updated if you use password-based sign-in.

Enable two-factor authentication with an authenticator app.

Save backup codes outside your main device when GeoQR shows them.

Delete Your Account

You can delete your account from the Danger Zone in Account settings.

Important behavior:

  • account deletion is permanent
  • password-based accounts must confirm with the current password
  • if your session is too old, GeoQR may ask you to sign in again before deletion succeeds
  • you cannot delete your account while you are still an owner of any organization

When account deletion succeeds, GeoQR removes your sign-in access, memberships, invitations you sent, and your personal notification state.

GeoQR does not delete shared organization resources just because you created or last edited them. If you still own an organization, delete it or transfer ownership first.
