Organization and Members
Manage teammates, invitations, roles, organization details, and organization deletion.
The Organization and Members settings areas help you manage the organization itself.
Invite Teammates
You can invite people by email and choose a role for them.
Typical roles are:
- Owner
- Admin
- Member
Invite teammates using the email address they will actually use to sign in. This helps them accept the invitation without account-switching problems.
In most organizations, owners and admins handle member management. Members may not see these controls.
Manage Existing Members
Depending on your role, you can:
- change member roles
- remove members
- review pending invitations
- cancel invitations that are no longer needed
If you cannot see a management action you expected, your organization role may not allow it.

Organization Details
You can also update:
- the organization name
- the organization slug
Be careful when changing the organization slug, especially if your team uses it in saved links, written instructions, or confirmation steps.
Switch Between Organizations
If you belong to more than one organization, use the switcher in the account menu to move between them.
Typical path:
- Open the account menu in the sidebar.
- Open the Organization section.
- Select the organization you want to use.
After switching, GeoQR updates the active organization and returns you to the app in that context.
If you do not currently have an active organization, the account menu points you to organization setup instead.
Deleting an Organization
Organization deletion is a serious action and is protected carefully.
Important behavior:
- only owners can request deletion
- you must type the current organization slug to confirm
- active paid or trial access must be resolved first
- deletion is scheduled, not immediate
If you change your mind before the deletion completes, you can cancel it while it is still pending.
Account Deletion and Organization Ownership
Account deletion and organization deletion are separate actions.
Important behavior:
- deleting your account does not delete an active organization you own
- GeoQR blocks account deletion while you are still an owner of any organization
- delete the organization or transfer ownership first, then retry account deletion
This prevents shared organization resources such as QR codes, domains, media, redirects, and analytics from being removed just because the owner deletes their personal account.
