FAQ

Quick answers to the most common questions about GeoQR.

What Is an Organization?

An organization is the shared GeoQR area where your team manages QR codes, domains, analytics, notifications, members, and billing.

Do I Need an Organization Before I Can Use GeoQR?

Yes. If you do not already belong to one, GeoQR sends you through onboarding after sign-in.

Can I Come Back to a QR Code Later?

Yes. GeoQR supports drafts, so you can start a QR code and return to it later.

Can I Use My Own Domain?

Yes. Add a custom domain in the Domains area and follow the DNS instructions shown in the app.

Do I Need a Custom Domain?

No. You can start with the default available domain option and add a branded domain later.

Can I Use Images or Logos Inside My QR Codes?

Yes. Upload them in the Media area first, then apply them during the QR design step.

Why Are Some Areas Locked?

Some parts of GeoQR depend on active organization billing access. Open Billing to review the current status.

Can I Belong to More Than One Organization?

Yes. If you are part of multiple organizations, use the account menu in the sidebar to switch between them.

Why Can I See the Organization but Not Change Settings or Billing?

Your organization role may not allow that action. In many teams, billing and member management are handled by admins and owners.

Where Do I Change My Timezone?

Open Settings and update your account information. GeoQR uses your timezone for date-based analytics views.

Where Do Notifications Appear?

Use the bell icon in the app header to open the notification inbox.

How Do I Switch Between Organizations?

Open the account menu in the sidebar, open Organization, and select the organization you want to use.

What Should I Do Before Sharing a QR Code Publicly?

Test it yourself first on a real device, confirm the right page opens, and make sure the design scans reliably in normal conditions.

Can I Search or Sort My QR Codes?

Yes. The QR list supports search and sorting so you can find existing codes faster as your organization grows.

Why Can I Not Delete a Domain or Media File?

GeoQR blocks deletion when an active QR code is still using that domain or file. Update the QR code first, then try again.

What Happens If I Delete a QR Code?

That QR code will no longer work when scanned, and the deletion cannot be undone.
